Taking a look behind the scenes our decision to host a collaborative stand for our members at Advanced Engineering 2022 AND now 2023.
"This one meant a lot to me. I started the ConeX Portal journey pre-pandemic and launched the company right in the middle of the first lockdown. There were plenty of ups and downs over the first year, and I could not wait to finally start planning some real face to face opportunities. So I've written this article to give a bit of background on the journey, and shout out some of the brilliant support we received along the way!"
Our decision to take a stand at Advanced Engineering UK 2022 takes us right back to the start of 2021, when I booked to visit the show. Advanced Engineering 2021 was AE’s first post-Covid show and it was the first large-scale, face to face event for ConeX since launching early in 2020.
Deciding to attend was a bold, brave decision - after all this is one of the largest engineering shows in the UK and ConeX, as a new business, was concentrating on growing our membership. ConeX had attended a few shows as a delegate, but not as an exhibitor on such a large scale.
But we like big, bold, and brave decisions. And more than anything, we like to set ourselves goals. And exhibiting at Advanced Engineering was a huge goal.
